Description
Inspired by the artist’s Kindergarten experience of making papier mache from torn pieces of paper immersed in flour and water and applied in layers to an inflated balloon. Once the layers were dry the teacher would pass round the class room pricking the balloons with a needle to free each individual mask. The masks would then be painted and decorated by each child to their own preference.
